Product Description

Functionality–our electric height adjustable desk frame offers smoother height adjustments, better stabilization and low noise while running than most comparable products. The telescoping support bars adjust to fit many widths. So even if you decide to upgrade your desktop further down the line, you can still keep the same great frame. This product meets the minimum requirements of BIFMA standards.
Color and style–our frame comes in white, black and silver and perfect for different room décor style. The C-frame foot gives you a slightly more stable desk than a T-frame does because it is built to be very stiff with its cast-molded steel construction to allow for its advanced design.

Features

  • Dual motor lift mechanism – Offers smoother height adjustments, better stabilization and low noise while running. Noise level in running mode is under 50 dBs.
  • Advanced all-in-one keypad- With three programmable presets, you can save your favorite seated, standing, and underdesk cycling heights. Your exact desk height is shown on a display that automatically goes dark to reduce power draw while the desk is stationary. The sit/stand time reminder system also helps alert you when it’s time to stand, and can be turned on or off anytime based on your work flow.
  • Robust and stable construction – Designed for maximum structural integrity, our frame features double steel tubing that ensures stability even at its highest height.

    :

I was able to put the whole thing together myself in less than an hour–except for the last step (attaching the desktop to the legs), which is best done by two people.

I’m so glad I got this desk, and have recommended it to a colleague!

    :

This is a terrific sit-stand desk: spacious desktop, easy to assemble, GREAT PRICE. Though other reviews noted that the desktop was chipped when unpackaged, mine arrived in perfect condition. It was well-packed, with straightforward assembly instructions.

    :

As far as the desk itself goes…It is very well made. It is stylish and the desktop surface is huge. I have two 26-inch monitors, side-by-side, a small PC tower a scanner and I still have room for speakers and two lamps. The lift mechanism is very smooth and surprisingly quiet. The desk is very heavy, but steel tends to be ;).

I wish I could get one of these for my work office but the cubicle is too small. LOL

    :

I couldn’t be happier with this desk. As someone who has two herniated discs and also suffers from chronic inflammation in the lower back, this desk is truly a life saver. Being able to adjust the height, even a few inches, is so helpful. I use the desk both while sitting and standing and having that that flexibility is fantastic.

    :

I was looking at on desk stand up options and decided to compare prices with a desk that had uplifting options. I found this desk that cost a bit more than an on desk option! I just received this desk yesterday. I put it together today. Some reviews say it is a bit challenging but I thought it was fairly easy. I was able to put it together by myself. This is a quality product that is built with substantial material.

I had a control hub fail after 6 months but ApexDesk a replacement shipped to my door within 4 days of filling out a support ticket on their website. Wow! It was an upgrade with memory settijg functions also. Exceptional service.

    10/10 would buy again

    Ill keep it short:

This was the only standing desk that was reasonably affordable. It is well wortg the money and could probably be sold for more.

The desk is very sturdy, and simple to put together …for the most part. The lift action is nice and seems to handle the weight of a large computer with several monitors pretty nicely.

    :

I just received my desk today and WOW I am impressed! Shipping took about 1 week from the date of my order and the desk arrived in 3 large packages. It was nicely packed in very sturdy cardboard boxes. There have been a few reviews that talked about damage that occurred during shipping; however, they must have made some changes because the packing was excellent.

The value and quality of this table would definitely make me a repeat buyer, should the need arise, and I would definitely recommend the product to others.

    :

The look is sleek and beautiful and is extremely sturdy. The mechanism to raise and lower the desk is quiet and smooth in operation. I’ve had the desk for about 2 months now and don’t know how I lived without it!

    :

I got this desk in October, and I wanted to use it awhile before rating it. After using is for a couple of months now, I absolutely love the desk. It is a very large surface, and I love the red apple finish. The desk top is very durable and it’s so nice to be able to raise and lower it with the push of a button. I keep the desk at a standing height most of the day, but when I do sit down, it adjusts to a lower height than most desks if I want it to.

  12. 5 out of 5

    :

Very pleased with the desk! I had it put together in about 30 minutes or so and everything I needed to put it together was included. I zip tied all of my cords and power strips to the bars under the desktop so overall the whole setup is very clean.

  13. 5 out of 5

    :

I love this desk. It was relatively easy to assemble and it does a great job of supporting all of my work desk items. This is a solid and heavy desk, be sure you have an extra set of hand to do the final assembly and moving. One word of advice, I found that I do not use the up/down feature as much as I thought. I simply leave the desk at standing height and seek another location when I need to sit.

  14. 5 out of 5

    :

Very high-quality desk. Extremely sturdy both in the lowered and at the highest raised position. All of the components are solid, heavy metal or wood that feels like it will stand the test of time. The electric motors are quiet and very efficient. We have several of these in our office and everyone loves them. Plenty of desk space.

    :

I’ve had this product for about a year and a half now, and couldn’t be more satisfied with the purchase. The desk looks beautiful, is rather durable, and has held up quite nicely despite multiple sit/stand cycles in everyday use. While the tabletop is made of fiber/particle board (HDF), it’s nothing like the type you find in cheap bookshelves; it’s high-density, tough, and VERY heavy (have someone help you with installation!). Just be sure keep heavy, sharp, metal objects away from the surface — I dropped something on the tabletop and created a small nick on the edge.

    :

This is my first sit/stand desk. It has enough height for it to be at a perfect level for me standing. I’m 6’1″. It goes even higher than I need. Perfect for taller people. The electronic control allows for easy use. It takes about 20 seconds to go from my sitting position to my standing position or vice versa.

The construction and architecture of this desk is extremely solid and stable, exactly what I was looking for.

  17. 5 out of 5

    :

The desk is HEAVY, and sturdy. On a scale of 5, and 5 being the easiest, the assembly was a 4 1/2. Every box has the desk assemble instructions! With the exception of the “L” shaped locks, the entire desk could have been assembled without the instructions. I think it had 15 screws and three nuts. The only hard part was aligning two of the six screws the attach the table/composite to the structure. Though two people are recommended, an average person can assemble alone – I did. Only two tools were used: a Philips head screw driver and a needle nosed pliers (to hold the nuts while turning the screws).

  18. 5 out of 5

    :

It held my course drywall screws very well to mount my add ons–just pre drill, use a course thread screw, and hand tighten just until secure. Too much muscle could strip it. The laminated surface is very attractive and covers top and bottom. I would give this desk more stars if I could.

    :

I had been looking for an affordable standing desk when I found this. The price looked great and the size of the desk was large enough so I gave it a try. It arrived in 3 large boxes but with no damage. Putting it together took a little time and patience but the end result is amazing. The desk goes up and down smoothly and the layout on the desk works well for the cables that I have for a monitor, laptop and desk lamp. I used some of the 3M command hooks to keep the cables organized under the desk so nothing is getting tangled up as the desk goes up and down. Everyone who sees it is amazed at how nice it looks. All in all a great purchse!

    :

This Desk is a beast built strong and very sturdy could not believe the Exellent quality and the best part was everything was so easy to put together with pre-drilled anchor holes already done. I check with other companies way over priced. I will recommend anyone looking for a beautiful, strong sturdy and well made desk look no further you have to checkout

I was searching everywhere for a good desk and came across Apex. Read the reviews and went for it. Got it surprisingly 2 days after ordering (although the shipment tracking in Amazon said it hadn’t been delivered). Everything was in mint condition upon arrival (first thing I checked was if there was any damage to the table top since I read that in the reviews that it had happened-nothing wrong, flawless), so I started putting it together.

    :

I was able to contact customer support and was able to get a free memory controller from them as well!. I can’t really judge how well it compares to the updesk since i never really used one but for the price, i am so getting my money’s worth.

    :

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. I have been wanting a desk like this for a long time, but most of them were what I considered too expensive. This desk actually seems better than most of the more expensive desks I have seen online, and yet the price is considerably lower. I have had the desk over 4 months now and it continues to work flawlessly. The desk surface is huge, with more space than I initially expected. ApexDesk has been great to deal with as well. I really appreciate their customer service.

  24. 5 out of 5

    :

My background is in engineering. It should not be too hard and cost just a few extra dollars for manufacturer to include a reset button on the control panel like the one on the desktop computer.

  25. 5 out of 5

    :

    Pros:
The desk reaches my 6′ height without issue and room to spare
Installation was fairly easy (1 hour)
    Did I mention beautiful?
    Did I mention Customer service?

Cons (neither of these were worthy of a star deduction):
Motor is a bit “wonky” if you will. Raising/lowering takes a second to start and doesn’t stop right away. – I find I need to let go within an inch or so from where I want it so it reaches that height.

    :

From the reviews I read I was a little worried that the desk top might come damaged but it didn’t. It wasn’t too bad to put together having help from another person. This desk is really everything I hoped for! I regularly switch between sitting and standing to relieve my back pain so I can focus and get the work done that I need to do. I also have a sit-to-stand desk at work and in comparison the one thing that is less optimal about this one is the significant delay between pressing the up/down buttons and the motors actually kicking in. The one I have a work is pretty instant whereas this one requires a second or two before it starts to move. That’s more of a minor nuisance than a significant complaint though. I got the Apple Red color by the way, which I’m really enjoying and so far

  27. 5 out of 5

    :

The desk arrived in three very heavy boxes. The top, the cross bar and feet, and the lifting mechanisms. Each one was quite a bit heavier than I expected. Even so, I was able to haul it all up a flight of steps and put it together by myself. Everything is somewhat straightforward, but be sure to follow the instructions for the t-shaped parts (You’ll see what I mean). Also make sure you don’t pinch one of the wires between the frame and tabletop.

    :

I just got the desk yesterday & unfortunately it was damaged in shipping but already put together using it until the new arrives and it’s amazing! I have a 32″ and two 21″ monitors on the larger desktop & bought the stands recommended by another review. Works awesome going up & down! Bought a Wurf to stand on to even get a work out. I am stoked about getting more work done… great product!

    :

We received the desk and it was working superbly. Our technicians love it. But it stop working one day, the reset function stopped functioning. We had tried and went nowhere. We finally called the manufacturer ApexDesk and they provide solutions right away. People are courteous and extremely helpful.

  30. 5 out of 5

    :

Some of the previous reviews had me concerned about whether there would be damage on arrival, but Apex must have corrected that problem, as I found everything to be well-protected in its packaging – no damages on arrival.

Assembly was very straight-forward, instructions were easy to follow, and, who am not terribly mechanical had no problem completing the process in around 30 minutes. You WILL need two people at the end of the assembly process to get the desk upright. It is VERY heavy, but that speaks to its quality. I think it will easily withstand the 3 to 5 times a day I raise and lower it.

    :

I’m impressed. I was going to buy a motorized frame and build my own top but that frame alone would have cost about as much as this desk. I got this figuring I would eventually replace the top but now that I have it I’m quite please with the top. It is thicker than the pictures make it look due to the taper around the edges.

  32. 5 out of 5

    :

This desk is amazing. Initially after buying this and waiting for it to show up I was somewhat worried that this would not suit my needs. I am glad to say that I am just blown away by the level of quality of this product. The desk surface seems to be made of a high quality plastic that will be next to impossible to scuff. I thought for sure that this was treated wood until I found the seem. and noticed hat one of the “board-lines” curved with the curve of the desk (barely). It is super refreshing to see a desk that is not made of particle board. The supports are just phenomenal and ease of assembly and durability is what really got me hooked on this. I am confident that this product will last me at least 10 years. If my house burned down tomorrow I would buy this desk again. This desk is worth every penny that I paid for it.

  33. 5 out of 5

    :

I’ve only been using it for a few days, so I cannot speak to it’s longevity, but from an initial build standpoint, ease of assembly, and usability – it is first class.

    About standing desks:
If you’re like me, you’ve been all over the internet looking for a sit/stand desk that doesn’t cost a thousand dollars. Let me tell you, this is probably as cheap as you’re going to find them. It is important to note that most of these companies get their desk frames from the same company, so the majority of their price is markup. ApexDesk’s price is simply the best I’ve found for a desk with these features. EVOdesk didn’t even respond to my emails.

    :

Saved myself a boatload of money with this. I was going to spend $1200 on a company to make a standing desk for me. With this I was able to do it for under $600

  36. 5 out of 5

    :

Desk works perfect but sadly Fedex did not. Top came DOA and Flexispot nicely sent me new top for free of charge. I just hope it gets safely this time. I’m 6″2 and this desk works perfect for me. It does wiggle a little but its almost unnoticeable. 2 24″ monitors 1 laptop 1 desktop and lots of stuff and it still move up and down very quick and nothing falls. Decent price for 71″ standing desk and also free shipping and good support from seller. I did research for almost for a month for standing desk and this was my choice I’m happy with the purchase.

  37. 5 out of 5

    :

This desk lacks any cord control channels (which I knew going in), though there are a bunch of inexpensive solutions for this, and I honestly would rather customize my cord control than rely on a one-size-fits-all solution. You WILL want to control cords on this desk for aesthetic reasons. I probably will mount a couple power strips underneath the back of this desk, as well as a couple small cord channels.

I’m perfectly satisfied with this purchase.

  38. 5 out of 5

    :

This desk is just perfect and such a good value. It arrived earlier than indicated and in pristine condition. Assembly was simple, but does require two people as indicated. The desk raises and lowers easily and smoothly. It is very sturdy and stable. I was considering a much more expensive sit/stand desk that was not motorized when a co-worker suggested this one. I am so glad they did!

  39. 5 out of 5

    :

This is much more sturdy and heavy duty than I thought it might be. Perhaps other reviewers who found it wobbly used too light of a top. I used a leftover slab of walnut butcher block counter top (63″ wide x 25″ deep x 1.5″ thick), which is fairly heavy, and found it to be quite stable. The up/down action functions smoothly, the assembly instructions were well laid out, and the provided self-tapping screws were sufficient to attach the top.

An excellent value for the money.

    :

I rarely take the time to write a product review. However, this one deserves the time it takes to do so.

I work exclusively from home and spend a considerable amount of hours at my desk. I needed to replace my fixed position desk with one that I can adjust for standing or sitting throughout the day. After searching through many options I came across this product and based upon the reviews, placed my order.

  41. 5 out of 5

    :

I shopped and researched Flexispot desks of this type for months. Finally made the buy decision, thank goodness the shipping company lost the large item (again). After the order was canceled I resigned myself to not getting one of these. Then these Flexispot appeared on Amazon. I bought one as soon as I saw it and long story short, it’s great.

It arrived in three boxes. Once opened, all the parts were accounted for. One small scratch on the heavy metal leg was the sum total of the shipping damage. This thing was packed for rough handling. Because three packages fit individually into the fedex/ups system, I didn’t have the usual terrible delivery trouble from a 18 wheeler delivering the final leg.

  42. 5 out of 5

    :

I am so very happy with this, I was able to use the desk I already had. It is easy to operate and adjusts from standing to sitting when needed. I would buy again!

  43. 5 out of 5

    :

In my life I can count on one hand the number of purchases that have been the best money I ever spent. This is one. I suffered back pain for years. Physical therapy, rest, Advils, heating pads did not help. Then I read that man was not meant to sit all day and doing so is life-shortening.
So I investigated standing desks and found this one. Much more expensive ones are out there. Table top podium style add-on desks are out there too. I didn’t chose them because my back was hurting so lifting to raise manually sounded awful. This desk raises and lowers with a push button. It has lots of space so my hard drive tower, printer, a lamp, and all my papers are all right there around me.

  44. 5 out of 5

    :

So why not 5 stars? The unit arrived with cosmetic damages. The hard coatings of the “feet”/base were scuffed/chipped to the metal in four areas. This isn’t painted metal… not like paint on cars anyway. The box it came in didn’t seem damaged at all, so I was very surprised to see such hard scrapes/chipped “feet”/base. Perhaps the box (three heavy boxes total for the desk) the “feet”/base were in was dropped flat during transit. Also, one of the (not pictured) screw-in round foot-pads were broken in half; which I super-glued together. Since the desk will stand on carpet, I do not think it will matter. None of these I’d call the mfg for – it’d just mean headaches (and no desk) for me longer. A note to the mfg, the “feet” need more bubble wrap. BTW, the packaging/boxing were super/professional packing. I know this sounds contradicting, but perhaps with the exception of the scrapped/chipped “feet” everything else were packed wrapped, snug, secured and very professional.

  45. 5 out of 5

    :

I was hesitant to spend $600+ for an out-of-the-box setup that might not even be thick enough to support C-clamp monitor arms. I didn’t want to get a crank desk because I knew that I would want to switch in and out of sitting / standing frequently. This product, along with a solid core door from Lowe’s or Home Depot, was the perfect solution. The solid core door works great since it is perfectly flat and very thick. The only complaint I have with the door is that the corner where my arms rest is not rounded; I am planning to get a wood router soon to fix that.

  46. 5 out of 5

    :

This frame is really first class – solidly built and very stable. I installed it under a mission style desk where it sits very discreetly while in the lower position. Hit the preset to 110 and voila’ I have a great stand up desk!

  47. 5 out of 5

    :

My overweight teenage child plays too much video games and watch too much youtube. Controlling time don’t seem to really work, so I decided to make a deal – watch video only on treadmill, and play Minecraft / other PC games standing up.

  48. 5 out of 5

    :

This desk frame is excellent! Very sturdy, silent operation, and I love the memory settings (I’ve used one for standing & the other for sitting).

    :

I just started using the sit/stand desk and I like it very much. I am having some trouble getting the Controller to set the saved height. I’m still working on that.

  50. 5 out of 5

    :

This is where this table comes in. It’s adjustable in length allows me to buy a suitable table top (from Ikea). The three memory buttons allow programming for a sit down position and height for another person. The motor is quiet and movement is smooth.

  51. 5 out of 5

    :

The desk is strong and stable. It’s not rigid like a 1 ton table, but more than enough as a work desk. I do wish it comes with lockable casters, as I need to have the ability to move the desk around. So I have to buy that separately.

  52. 5 out of 5

    :

Assembly was pretty straight forward and instructions with pictures are clear enough. I am happy with this electronically height adjustable desk frame!

  53. 5 out of 5

    :

So far so good. Easy to assemble, although I found it easier to center the frame on the desktop while the desktop was on the ground (and the frame is upside down). I was able to mark and start the holes for the screws while in that position, then turn everything right side up and then attach the screws. Also, the package arrived without screws (There was a hole in the box, they may have fallen out in transit). VIVO was very responsive and I received replacement screws in less than 72 hours from when I emailed them. Thank you so much!

Great product, put it together in a heartbeat. Nice job vivo

This thing is amazing! I needed something that could easily lift all my gear from sitting, standing and extra standing position. This delivers!

    :

I spent weeks researching sit/stand desks and risers, reading tons of reviews. My issue was that as a transcriptionist/editor I needed my entire desk area to be the same height when it was raised, unlike some of the less expensive types which only have space for your laptop.
